Say farewell to Jante Law: Introducing The Nordic 100

Whether it is because of Jante Law or not, celebrating or promoting individuals is simply not how things are done in the Nordics.

However, we at The Nordic Web believe there is a balance to be found between humility and zealous celebration, and that's recognition, which is why we're starting The Nordic 100.

The Nordic 100 is an annual list recognising the 100 most impactful and influential people in the Nordic tech scene each year.

Individuals and organisations that are at the forefront of shaping and positioning the region as one of the world's most important innovation hubs. We'll recognise investors, entrepreneurs and companies that are playing important roles in the region and are influencing what tomorrow looks like in the Nordics, and indeed the world.

The Nordic 100 will be published in December of this year, and we need your help.

You have until the end of September to nominate the individual(s) or organisation(s) that you believe deserve to be recognised by the inaugural The Nordic 100.

We'll then use October to whittle down the nominations internally to 100, before consulting with chosen individuals in our network in November (We'll be transparent as to who) as to what position each member of the final 100 should hold, and ultimately who will be crowned the most impactful and influential person in the Nordic tech scene for 2016.
